Two ways to sign in
Stellar wallet
Connect Freighter, xBull, Albedo, or any other wallet supported by Stellar Wallets Kit.
You prove ownership by signing a challenge, and nothing reaches Confiroll but the
signature.
Sign in with just an email address. An embedded wallet is created for you behind the
scenes, so you need no browser extension and no seed phrase.
Sign in with a Stellar wallet
1
Open the wallet picker
Select Connect Stellar wallet. A picker opens, powered by Stellar Wallets Kit, listing
every wallet it detects on your device.
2
Choose your wallet
Pick your wallet and approve the connection request it shows. Confiroll receives your
public account, and nothing secret ever leaves the wallet.
3
Sign the SEP-10 challenge
Confiroll asks your wallet to sign a one-time login challenge, following the SEP-10
standard for signing in with a Stellar account. This is a signature only: it proves you
control the account, moves no funds, and costs nothing.
4
Land in your dashboard
Confiroll issues a short-lived session and takes you straight to the app that matches your
role.
Freighter, xBull, and Albedo all work, alongside the other wallets that Stellar Wallets Kit
supports. Confiroll uses your wallet’s normal transaction-signing to sign the challenge, not
the auth-entry signing that some wallets do not support, so the flow stays consistent across
wallets.
Sign in with email
1
Enter your email
Select the email option. A secure sign-in window opens, powered by Privy, and you enter
your address.
2
Confirm the code
Privy sends a one-time code to your inbox. Enter it to verify the address.
3
Your embedded wallet is created
Behind the scenes you get a Stellar wallet tied to your login, with no seed phrase to
write down and no extension to install.
4
You're in
Confiroll verifies your login, starts your session, and routes you to the right app.
What happens after you sign in
Confiroll reads your account and routes you automatically. If you run payroll, you land in the employer app. If you were invited to get paid, you land in the contractor portal. Some people are both, and the same account carries both views.- If you run payroll, head to the Employer guide.
- If you were invited to get paid, head to the Contractor guide.
Frequently asked
Which wallets are supported?
Which wallets are supported?
Freighter, xBull, and Albedo work out of the box, along with the other wallets that
Stellar Wallets Kit supports. The wallet picker lists whatever it detects on your device,
so you choose from what you already have installed.
Do I need XLM to sign in or to get paid?
Do I need XLM to sign in or to get paid?
No. Signing in is a signature, not a transaction, so it costs nothing. Every on-chain
action after that is fee-sponsored, so sending, receiving, and withdrawing all cost you 0
XLM. You never need to hold gas. Confiroll runs on the Stellar testnet, so payouts use
test USDC while you explore.
Is email sign-in safe, and where is my wallet?
Is email sign-in safe, and where is my wallet?
Yes. With email sign-in, an embedded wallet is created and its keys stay on your device,
derived from your login. Confiroll holds zero keys either way, so it cannot move your
funds or read your amounts whether you connect a wallet or use email.
Can I be both an employer and a contractor?
Can I be both an employer and a contractor?
Yes. Role comes from your data, not from a separate account, so a single sign-in can carry
both the employer app and the contractor portal. Confiroll shows you whichever view fits
what you are doing.
How do I sign in on a new device?
How do I sign in on a new device?
Use the same method. Connect the same wallet, or sign in with the same email, and your
keys are reconstructed locally on the new device. Your confidential balance decrypts again
from chain state, because nothing was ever stored on Confiroll’s side to move across.
